I was at an antique shop looking for a spinng wheel when I found what I think is a castle wheel. On the bottom underneath, there is a stamp that says Gerard Gerhardt. I would very much like to know what it is worth? I also need a part that attatches the foot pedal to the piece above it that makes the wheel go round.
I need to find someone in my area who could tech me how to spin. I understand that there was just a spinning expo at our local mall in Bourbonais,IL (Northfield or Simon Mall) just a couple of weekends ago.
I think it is all here, but I can't find any photos of one to see & wouldn't have any idea what the part was called even if I did see a photo. Maybe my husband could make the part that I know is missing.
