Hi Mina, I found the louet S-10 to be an affordable wheel that will serve you well for a long time. I have 3 wheels and I like my louet S-10 the best. It's easy to learn on and simple in construction. Search the net for dealers. My friend got one at the Rhinebeck NY sheep and wool show for $280. A used one just sold for more than that on ebay!! But, you could watch just in case--there is another one on there now. Or you could rent one from an instructor. If you take a few lessons you can try different wheels and get a feel for them. I spin dog hair also. I just finished some Old English Sheep Dog. But my favorite has been a Samoyed named Bear! Good luck.
