We have just purchased an old loom. Have been told that it was manufactured in Massachusetts sometime in the 40's or 50's. The only identification that we have is a sticker with the word Mayflower and the number 332. It is what I would call a counter balance loom with pulleys and string holding the harnesses from a bar across the top of the loom.
The treadles are attached at the back. The beater bar hangs from the top also. It is 52" tall. Can anyone give me some info on who the manufacturer would be and where I might get more information and maybe a manual? Thanks.
