I think that you will need to use a short draft style. Almost let the twist go into the mass of fibre, but once it starts to, pull it gently about 2-3 inches and continue to repeat that. Maybe it would be helpful to begin with a 50/50 blend of sheep wool and angora, just to help you get a feel for it.
