DON'T STOP NOW!!!!
The hard part is all done. You need to start weaving against something like dowels or strips of cardboard. You raise 1/2 of the warp and put in a strip, then the other half of the warp and put in a strip. In other words, you "weave" the strips in before you start with any yarn. Put in 3-5 strips and you will have a solid base to start using the "beater" (that is the name of the combing thing in front) and the yarn. Also, you are right. When you have about an inch woven go ahead and sew along the front edge to keep it neat when you take it off. If I did not explain any of this well, please let me know and I will try to clear up the confusion.

Good for you, you are doing great.
Maria
